Method: design content as a system, not a single narrative. Let readers scan, click, and jump to what they need.
Path finder: what do you want to do?
Instead of one fixed reading order, readers pick their goal and get a route built for them. Try it:
๐ฑ Understand the basics
๐ Complete a task now
๐งฏ Fix a problem
๐ Train my team
๐ผ Convince a buyer
๐ป Integrate via API

Write for scanning
- Use descriptive headings that answer "is this the part I need?"
- Put the key point first in each section.
- Keep paragraphs short; use lists and tables for comparable items.
- Add an "On this page" block, like the one at the top, to long topics.
Connect topics with cross-references
Every topic should work on its own and point to related topics. In ClickHelp, cross-reference links, anchor links (like the ones at the top of this page), breadcrumbs, and the TOC let readers move sideways instead of only forward.
